Linda Tait  Church Secretary
When I graduated (long time ago) I married quickly (before becoming an old maid) and had two children.  I was a working mom, pursuing a career in the aerospace field.  As sometimes happens those early marriages just don’t work and for us it didn’t. I continued to work in the aerospace industry as a draftsman and later as a circuit board layout designer, and eventually as a Quality Assurance Manager.

I was single raising my two children for over 8 years, at which time I met the man of my dreams (Bob Tait).  I’m not sure who pursued whom, but soon thereafter we were married.  We increased our family to three children, and spent all of our spare time loving each other and doting on our children.  Those children are all grown now and have families of their own.

We enjoyed several years of having a horse ranch and raising Arabian horses; that was until we found it to be an expensive and time consuming hobby (that only took 8 years, we’re a little slow).  We spent several years on the show circuit, and riding for pleasure, noting that most golf courses were such a waste of “good horse pasture”. Then the light came on and we found that golf courses were a really great place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, hitting that little white ball around all those lush green acres.

Bob and I retired in the Hemet/San Jacinto area, well I guess that’s not exactly true, we were both retired for a short time, then I decided I had too much time on my hands so decided to go back to work. In 1996 I became the church secretary at St. John’s and love every minute of it. We have been members of St. John’s congregation since 1991. We thank the Lord daily for the many blessings that we have enjoyed over our many years together.
